About Us
Hospital Introduction
ANGKOR JAPAN FRIENDSHIP INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL opened on May 29, 2017, in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Established through joint investment from Cambodia and Japan, along with support from companies in Thailand, China, and South Korea, our hospital provides medical care rooted in the Cambodian community with an international perspective.
Our hospital’s mission embodies a commitment to building trust by prioritizing communication with patients and clients, aiming to be a hospital that many people can support. We are also driven by a dedication to kindness, attentiveness, and providing safe and reliable medical services, alongside actively supporting educational initiatives and engaging in volunteer activities within the community.
With deep gratitude for everyone who supports our hospital’s growth each day, we are committed to contributing to Cambodia’s future and to the well-being of all.
Director’s Message
Our hospital was established in May 2017 in Siem Reap, Cambodia, the city known for the UNESCO World Heritage site, Angkor Wat. We believe it is essential for Siem Reap, a city visited by many tourists from around the world, to have a reliable medical institution with high standards of care, as it plays a vital role in the city’s infrastructure.
Founded with support from Japan, Thailand, China, and South Korea, our hospital has primarily supported the health of travelers and many international residents since its opening. However, with the global COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, we renewed our commitment to serve as “a hospital for the people of Siem Reap” and continue our efforts with a fresh perspective and renewed dedication.
Our hospital is sustained through extensive support from Japan and many other sources, and we have a responsibility to bring this support to the people of Siem Reap and Cambodia. Our entire team is committed to learning from everyone involved with our hospital, growing individually and collectively to contribute to the present and future of Siem Reap and Cambodia.
In Siem Reap, where world-class medical standards are still developing, we are dedicated to providing safe, secure, and compassionate care. Each member of our staff feels daily gratitude for the understanding and support we receive and strives to connect their personal growth to the hospital’s development, furthering our ability to contribute to your health and happiness. Thank you for your continued support.
